The fact of the matter is that if this were to happen to anyone else, I don’t care how smart and great that they think they are, they would also fall for it or they would go insane all together. This includes every religious scholar, preacher, imam or rabbi on earth.

If you do the math on every single person experiencing these things, the sum of them are a hell of a lot larger than what statistics are showing. That is just the peope who are actually reporting this to an authority who keeps track. Most do not report this because of stupid questions and assumption like this question & the stigma associated with these things.
